Over the past decade, digital playback has veered off
on a tangent, to sound ever more detailed and uninvolving. Hence AMR's CD-77
Compact Disk Processor had one aim and one aim only:
"To bring compact disk playback back en par with the
vinyl system."
That is, to put the
life, emotion and enjoyment back into listening to compact disks. With this in
mind, the CD-77 was developed to sound real, dynamic and most important of all,
involving for the listener.
The core
DAC is the classic "King of the Multibit" – Philips TDA1541A chipset. This
chipset forms the heart of an extremely unique “Digital Engine” that is
comprised of the latest Lattic’s CPLD and TI’s DSP devices. Through the
proprietary Digital Master I/Digital Master II settings, the CD-77 is one of the
select few digital components that is able to play "bit perfect" audio. This
means music, not hifi is the result as the sound is just right because there is
no artificial manipulation of the signal (so often found in almost all other
machines).
Combined with the
revolutionary “Gomez” analogue stage using pure New Old Stock valves throughout
and a total of 5 dedicated audio specified transformers, the CD-77 brings the
performance of CD back in-line with the very best vinyl has to offer.

Audio Desk Systeme's Vinyl
Cleaner is the first and only LP cleaning machine that incorporates an
ultrasonic cleaning cycle in addition to a more conventional mechanical cleaning
via bi-directional rotating microfiber cleaning drums, and the result is the
cleanest LP's ever. See more information on ultrasonic cleaning
below.
And it is fully automatic - just put the LP in the slot, push the button, and
come back in 5 minutes for a thoroughly cleaned and dried LP (both sides). Whole
new layers of inner detail and air are revealed in the recordings, and of course
most surface noise is eliminated.
Comes with 2 vials of a proprietary cleaning fluid developed specifically for
this machine. A container of the fluid concentrate plus 4 liters of distilled
water (just over a gallon) cleans 200 new LP's, or 100 used LP's.

Every great performance deserves an Audience!
The Adept Response High Resolution Power Conditioner is a cutting edge design providing the best power conditioning possible without limiting dynamics. Since power must respond quickly and completely to the demands of program material we believe it is imperative that power conditioning components present a low impedance power path while providing wide bandwidth noise reduction. Conventional power conditioners simply cannot approach the bandwidth/impedance characteristics of the Adept Response while still offering effective noise filtration and high voltage surge protection. Exclusive Audience technology achieves far greater performance for all audio and video components.
Of the power conditioning products on the market today few allow your playback system to attain full dynamic range or reproduce subtle dynamic contrasts accurately. The other culprit afflicting most power conditioning products is the ubiquitous MOV. (Metal Oxide Varistor) The MOV is a sacrificial device. This means it wears down over time until it fails completely. Its purpose is to clamp high voltage transients safely to ground instead of through your equipment. This would be fine if it didn’t break down and behave like the world's worst capacitor across your power line, storing energy and releasing it as performance robbing, time delayed distortion into your audio system. The effect is quite audible. For surge protection the Adept Response employs a non-wearing type high voltage transient suppression.
Adept Response uses only the finest conducting, filtering and transient suppression components. Even the power switch is exceptional, a very high quality magnetic circuit breaker. The advantage over thermal circuit breakers is that thermal breakers increase in resistance as power demand increases, causing heat dependent, resistive modulation of the incoming voltage. This effectively reduces the power available to your equipment just when you need it most. The design employed in the Adept Response provides for the most natural flow of music.
The state of the art inductive components used in the Adept Response power conditioner add no significant series resistance. This maintains a low impedance power path to your playback system. Also, the Adept Response performs partial power factor correction. This helps restore natural dynamics by bringing the AC voltage and current into a better phase relationship allowing a more efficient transfer of power. With the Adept Response as your power conditioner all aspects of the audio/video performance are greatly improved. Your playback system will no longer be starved of clean high quality power. The result is realistic, beautiful audio and stunning video resolution.

Since their
introduction in 1991, Solidsteel audio tables have established a new
level of technical and aesthetic refinement for audio and video
component support and isolation.
Solidsteel uses tubular steel frames in their tables, stands, and bases. These tubular frames are reinforced by inserting a crimped steel bar into the end of every tube. The final assembly of each table or stand is done by hand, utilizing a brazing technique. This technique makes use of a special brass solder with a high concentration of nickel alloy, resulting in a weld with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. All Solidsteel frames are finished with special anti-resonant paint.
All solidsteel racks and stands feature height-adjustable stainless steel spikes to discharge spurious mechanical energy away from the audio gear on the table or stand. These stainless steel spikes are removable to allow the frame to be filled with sand, lead shot or other similar types of damping materials. This provides further mass and solidity to the stand.
To further reduce resonances from affecting sensitive audio equipment, every shelf is supported on, and therefore isolated from, the frame by three Duraluminium™ cones which are positioned to precisely discharge unwanted energies away from the shelf and into the frame and then away from the table or stand through the stainless steel floor spikes.
Isolation through cones provides superb acoustic neutrality and also offers a new degree of flexibility: for example, a user can fill the small troughs into which the cones are inserted with silicone of different viscosities, thereby changing the overall acoustic response of the table and the electronics it supports.
All shelves are produced from high-density MDF and have the considerable thickness of 19 millimeters/ 0.75 inch on the Series Five range and 30 millimeters/ 1.2 inches on the models Series Six range. The benefits of MDF include a much higher damping factor and superior rigidity.

CD Clean-PRO cd/dvd cleaner
CD Clean-PRO with Micro Cloth $24
CD Clean-PRO is a special formulated polycarbonate
cleaner designed to remove contaminates from the disc pressing process along
with dirt, dust, smudges, fingerprints and more. Contains No alcohol or Enzymes
and will not leave any degrading sonic residual behind. Pressing contaminates,
dust, dirt, Smudges, fingerprints on the laser reading side of the disc can
disrupt laser focus on the data even more than a scratch can. Dirt or dust on
the disc will block or reduce the light intensity of the laser. If severe
enough, it will cause the disc drive to miss data as the disc is being read.
Contaminates cover wide areas of data and will cause the laser beam to go out of
focus or lose intensity. They will also cause widespread misreading of data
along the data lines or tracks, to an extent that exceeds the error correction
capability of the disc drive.
Safe
on all polycarbonate discs which include CD, CD-Rs, CD-WR, SACD, DVD, DVD-A,
DVD-RW, HD-DVD, Blue Ray and Laser Disc.

Since 1948 Ortofon has introduced about 100 different moving coil models, and more are to follow.
Nothing demonstrates more convincingly Ortofon´s commitment to be the world´s last cartridge manufacturer than the ongoing development of new state-of-the-art models, and Ortofon will continue to refine upon the level of sound quality attainable from analogue recordings.
Contrary to other types of phono catridges, the moving coil principle is not suited for mass production. Each of the four coils contains between 11 an 24 turns of wire, depending on model, and has to be wound by hand under a microscope. The wire itself is much thinner than a human hair. The high degree of craftsmanship involved is one of the "secrets" behind Ortofon's reputation.

The new Ortofon TA-110 and TA-210 tonearms have gone to the next level by reducing unwanted vibrations in the tonearm. Their extensive knowledge of vibration properties and characteristics in different shapes and materials have been applied for optimization.
Introducing the MC ANNA
The story behind the MC Anna cartridge
Historically Ortofon has a long tradition of paying tribute to persons who have been highly influential within the high-end audio culture and in music culture and history in general. In honor of these remarkable persons, Ortofon has introduced numerous products throughout the years, including the SPU Meister, MC Rohmann, Kontrapunkt BACH and Windfeld cartridges.
Continuing this tradition with the MC Anna, Ortofon dedicates this new flagship cartridge to the opera singer Anna Netrebko, a virtuoso whose performance displays a formidable technical arsenal of endless versatility. With the dedication of the MC Anna, Ortofon once again emphasizes the company’s unchanging commitment and devotion to the music and to the purest delivery of recorded sound. Much like Anna Netrebko, Ortofon aspires to provide the ultimate musical experience through a mixture of innovation and technical expertise, combined with inspiration that goes beyond mere thought to reveal true inner emotion.
Flexibility and performance with a range of compatibility
Output impedance of 6 ohm and a low-to-medium output voltage of 0.2 mV make MC Anna a perfect partner for most MC phono preamps and step-up transformers, including the new Ortofon ST-80 SE.
Ortofon’s MC Anna focuses on providing music in its entirety without compromise, offering an ideal balance of precision and musicality to provide an engaging experience on a whole new level. With fine attention to both micro and macro dynamics combined with fluid tonality and texture, the MC Anna will shatter the boundaries of recorded music forever.
